ABOUT

 

 

 Welcome!

 

My name is Idreka Wright I'm a Licensed/Pre-School Childcare Provider. I'm  infant/child,  CPR/First Aide Certified, I am also certified in Communiable Dieases and Health and Nutirition through the Lorain County Childcare Resource Center with the Department of Job Family Services in 2006. I've earned my Early Childhood Education certificate in 2011 through Lorain County Community College, a diploma in medical office spealist in 2009 through Ohio Business College, I graduated from Lorain  Admiral king High School 2002.

 

 

A little about me I've been in Childcare for 15 years and based on my years of exprience I've learned that each child is individually diffrent. I also learned over the years that one must have appropriate developmental ideas for children of all needs.

 

The one thing I enjoy most in my line of work is working with

pre-school age children and disabled children because they acquire the most special attention in guidence towards their cognititve dvelopment.

 

I also enjoy getting to know the families of those children in trying my best to taylor to the current needs of their financial situation. I consider myself very reasonable, fair, and I am very flexible when it comes to co-payment as long as you are up front about your situation making it easy for me to accomodate the needs of your child.. 

 

Most of all I am compassionate in what I do. I enjoy going above and beyond for my families in connecting them to community resoures that's benefcial to both the parent and their children.

 

I strive for excellence in making my daycare a fun learning enviorment for all children.

Step Up Quality

 

I am happy to announce in 2014 I will be working on "Step up to Quality Program" where you will be able to rate my daycare.

Parents I am delighted to let all parents know that I offer both Early Pre-school/ Daycare and After School Services for all Children ages 6 weeks- 5yrs yrs. of age. 5AM-12PM 5yrs.-12yrs. 3PM-11:59PM

Child Safety

 

In ensuring the safety of each and every child enrolled in my daycare.  . .

 

It is my duty to file a incident report if and when a accident occurs or if I suspect neglect or abuse! While making every effort in informing the parent of said accident or suspicion, so immediate action is taken regarding care for that child.

 

Please Note: BY LAW I AM REQUIRED TO REPORT SUSPECTED NEGLECT OR ABUSE TO CHILDREN SERVICES.

 

 

I keep a map in my home to inform both the parent and child of all nearest Exits in case there is an abrupt emergency.

 

I like to practice routine fire drills to educate the child on fire safety and make them more aware so they know what to do in case of an fire.

Lorain County Dept. of Jobs and Family Services located at 

42485 North Ridge Road Elyria, OH 44035 ...  to complete the initial application process. You will need the following info. any copies of current income 3-6 weeks worth and a copy of both your school schedule and work schedule in order to qualify for assistance in the Childcare Voucher program to pay a reduced rate in childcare fees.
